Our child-friendly hotel offers plenty of room for kids to play. In summer small children can play in the hotel's own playground which has a sandpit, a swing, a trampoline, a small play house and other equipment. They can meet other children, explore nature or splash around in the open-air swimming pool of the hotel next door.
Romping, playing and doing somersaults: Children can have a taste of heaven in nature's green kingdom. Many business throughout the area are equipped to host our younger guests and offer special discounts for families.
Exciting activities and the legendary Dolomites make every day a new experience. Some legends date back to the arrival of thr first settlers in these mountains. Up to this very day every excursion is a tantalizing experience if the trail leads to the petrified dolls in the Latemar, to the mermaid's lake or into the enchanted forest where small gnomes sit in little burrows and trees change into master violins. Horses, cows and sheep graze on  the mountain pastures. Of course, a visit to the farm also means looking at and touching animals.

Holiday tips for families in the holiday region Rosengarten-Latemar

• Kids can ride by pony or horse and can do much more at the many riding stables in our region.
• A farm inspection is also a must. The visit allows our young guests to see and touch the many residents and animals of a farm.

• Special children's afternoons are organized in the nature park house Schlern (every Thursday in July and August).
  
• A special attraction is the Alpine Coaster in Gardone Predazzo. Here you can tobogganing all the year around
• In Tiers, you can make a witch-excursion (2x in July, 2 August). In addition, in the House Natural Schlern Weisslahnbad every Wednesday at 4.00 pm o clock there is a demonstration of the old Venetian sawmill.

If mammy and daddy want to try a slope on their own, our certified child minders will look after your children and keep them entertained.
Childcare available for children age 2 and older daily from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m., half-day, full-day or an entire week, with or without ski course in the Ski area Carezza - Karersee.

Snow play park King Laurin

A lot of fun and action for kids in the snow play park, the ski kindergarten and the Antermont Snow Park in the Carezza area! The slide, tunnels and snow tubbing facility, slalom runs, the Indian tent, the snow hill or the figures of the legends..innumerable possibilities for playing and laughing.
The child-specific conveyor belts support children during their first ski adventures.

The best ski and snowboard instructors working at the two certified ski schools offer a varied programme for beginners and advanced skiers or snowboarders, in order to provide you with more safety on the sunny and perfectly groomed slopes of the Ski area Carezza - Karersee.

Kids Special at Obereggen

Orso Bruno (the black bear Bruno) welcomes all children in Obereggen! Brunoland is the amusement ski-park for the youngest ones, situated next to the “Eben” trail (not far from Platzl). Skiing in Brunoland is even more fun now! There are two Magic Carpets (30 m and 50 m long respectively), and further attractions that will entertain your kids every day from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Every weak on Mondays the black bear Bruno visits Brunoland to ski, play and laugh with the children. Parents, be warned! Your kids will not want to go back home…
The renewal of the children’s park is a further step in the development of Obereggen. Obereggen is now in its 35th year, and beside modern lifts, wonderful trails, huts where people can eat and have fun, and a Snowpark for freestylers, it is now able to offer wintertime fun also to the youngest ones…

Snow kinderheim „Yeti’s Kinderland“

We’ll take care of your kids (starting from 3 years old), from 9.00 am to 16.00 pm. Kids will spend a fun time, learning to ski and playing at the “Yeti mini club”. At the end of the week the well deserved “mini prizegiving”.
