At the Dolomiteshotel Weisslahnbad, guests can benefit from a special amenity: The hotel has its own spring, which already fed a bathing establishment in the 18th century. The spring rises 350 metres above the current hotel location with a water temperature of 6.8 degrees Celsius.
Weisslahnbad's water is characterized by its mineral, trace element, and other component content, making it slightly mineralized and referred to as acidulous due to its chemical composition. The water has a notably high magnesium and calcium content, thanks to the presence of carbon dioxide, which boosts mineral solubility, particularly for calcium and dolomite. Additionally, the water has a natural radioactivity content that is completely safe and is used medicinally for treating skin and nerve-related conditions.
